Since CamGlen Radio's inception in 2007 we have made it our mission to involve all the schools within the local area in its broadcasting ventures. During the period in which the we ran one-month long broadcasts, schools were regularly invited in to learn radio skills and host their own radio shows. 

Now that we've become a full time broadcaster, CamGlen Radio is pleased to welcome one of the schools back to host a show as part of the first weekly line-up on the station. Hallside Primary School was the first ever school to become part of the stations schools programme and they have continued using their radio skills gained from involvement with CamGlen Radio on an ongoing basis within the school.

The first live show of their weekly slot is on Thurs 26th March at 10am, and repeated at 6pm.

Expect some quality radio from Hallside Primary School's presenters of the future! (in fact, now!) 

We are looking into funding opportunities so we can expand our schools programme back to it’s former glory, and our hope is that after the Summer we will be able to roll this out to all local schools. Watch this space!
