BILLY ARMOUR Billy Armour has been involved in radio since his days at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, which he started in 1969. Since then he has done various T.V. shows including "Garnock Way", "Take The High Road", "The Sweeney", "Angels", "Taggart", "A Sense of Freedom" and many more too numerous to mention at this point. He has also worked in almost all major theatres in the country and has just finished a tour of comedy at the Glasgow Pavilion, where he will be returning in the Festive Season in Pantomime playing the "Sheriff of Nottingham", alongside Jim Davidson as "Robin Hood". Billy always maintains that it is a pleasure to be involved with Camglen Radio as it is such an exciting and important part of the community. His programme is on Sundays from 12.00 to 14.00 hours. Cheers to everybody, and thanks for listening. |
